“Precious wood fountain pen” series
This fountain pen is made from precious natural wood, which is known as a high-quality furniture material. This is an original fountain pen that allows you to feel the warmth of the wood. <Features>
Japanese horse chestnut is known as silk heather, and is a tree species with beautiful fine grains.
Scattered pore wood with indistinct annual rings. The color is yellowish white to pale yellowish brown.
The fine wood grain has a silk-like luster when polished, and the shrinkage is also known as “chirimen heather” or “ripple mark,” making it highly prized.
Although it has low durability, it is a useful material that has excellent workability and can produce large diameter trees.
Wood with curly heather, wave heather, mottled heather, etc. is treated as precious wood.
<Producing area>
It grows wild in Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. It is especially common in the Tohoku region and southern Hokkaido.
<Color tone>
The boundaries of the sapwood are indistinct, and the whole plant is pale red-yellow-white to pale yellow-brown in color. The surface of the wood has a silky luster. Significant ripple marks may appear on the grain surface.
<Application>
Used for large crafts and furniture (especially table tops).
Items with the ripple mark are valuable as tea utensils, crafts, and decorative materials.

<Cartridge installation method>
Remove the barrel of the fountain pen, point the pen tip upward, and insert the cartridge straight into the pen without turning it.
Once installed, wait until the ink reaches the tip and try writing.
<Converter suction method>
Remove the barrel, insert the converter straight into the neck, turn the knob to the left, lower the internal piston, and dip the pen tip into the ink up to the neck. Aspirate while rotating to the right. When suction is finished, wipe the pen tip clean before use.
